ARA--------------------------Following the powerful blast near Delhi's Red Fort, a high alert has been declared in Bihar. Strict checking has been ordered in crowded areas. All district Superintendents have been instructed to increase vigilance at religious sites, crowded markets, and public places.
Voting for the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections is scheduled for tomorrow, so security arrangements have already been tightened. Surveillance has also been increased along the India-Nepal border. The border has been sealed for the next 72 hours. Consequently, following the blast near Delhi's Red Fort, the Bihar Police is also on high alert.
The Bihar DGP stated that Bihar is already on high alert for the assembly elections due to the constant flow of VIPs. Strict security arrangements have been put in place throughout. Instructions have been issued to further increase vigilance following the Delhi incident.
It is noteworthy that a powerful blast occurred in a car near the Red Fort in Delhi on Monday evening at around 6:55 pm. 10 people have died in this blast while many people are seriously injured. It is being described as a high intensity blast. After this incident, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken to IB Chief Tapan Deka and Delhi Police Commissioner and has taken information about the entire incident. It is being said that such a blast has occurred in Delhi after 14 years.
At present, after this blast (Blast In Delhi), the security agencies have lost their sleep because today i.e. on Monday, 2900 kg of ammonium nitrate has been recovered in Faridabad adjacent to Delhi.
